5:27pm

I'm heading out. Gonna take a walk.

It's bright outside, and I think it will be good for me.

Gonna let you know how it went, ok.

6:45.

It was awesome!

I did 4,045 steps! The sun was out, the air was fresh, and I felt good that I was doing something for me. Of course I vowed to do this everyday because it felt so good.

Cheer me on as I try to walk yet again tomorrow!

I think that wearing a pedometer – is that the right term? – is a great idea. It turns a walk into digits of achievement. You know what I mean? It helped my friend walk more. We all got one from a wellness program at work. It motivated me to take just a few more steps each night at work. Without out it it wouldn’t have even entered my mind. When I was fighting I would climb this large set of steps at work and by counting set of stairs and times I climbed them I was motivated to do more each night at work. Good job, I am very proud of you. Thanks for not dropping me when I neglected my blog and everyone else’s blogs. I was very manic and gone to another place in my brain for a long time.

Later, Ash out…

I love the numbers game, too. Its quantitative; I can measure it, rate progress, and try to top it.

Results realy fuel my self -esteem

Taking a walk at the crack of dawn is one of the most beautiful things a person can do. It's so much different (better!) than lets say walking at other times in the day. Good for you B!
