They're Not Gonna Kill Me

Remember my torn esophagus?

Well, it's stress related. I bet you couldn't see that coming.

Apparently, when I stress, I get acid reflux. The acid burns my already weak throat.

Huh, what? You didn't know I Was stressed?

Oh yes. That's why I am about to go in and QUIT!

I get acid reflux too, quite badly at times. I can get through an entire pack of rennie in half a week and still feel acidy :(
I have learned to tell what things trigger it most tho. Generally milk, soft drinks, and certain spirits (amaretto in particular) can cause bad bouts of acid, as do fatty foods and sweets.
It's just not nice is it?

I hope it gets better for ya soon!*hugs*

I'll remind you once again that Prilosec OTC can really help this problem.

I dunno if it's already too late with your advanced tear, but I thought I would throw it out there anyway.

All that chest pain etc that you posted about a month or so ago...

...probably a tummy issue. i.e. nerves, i.e. stress.

feel better soon.
