I have a cold - slight head cold.
I took NyQuil and Dayquil and now I'm covered in hives.
The NyQuil worked like a charm. It knocked out my symptoms and help me sleep, but now my body is covered in itchy hives.

New here, but thought I would suggest Benadryl.
I am allergic to Benadryl, too. Yup, it'll gimmie hives :-(
Wow....I wish I had something suggest. Hubby breaks out in hives randomly and the only thing we can find that causes it is stress. The benadryl and a cool shower usually help him. Make sure that if the hives get bad and start going in your mouth and throat you need to seek emergency treatment. Hubby almost dies this way once.
BTW, thanks for the comment on my blog. It really does help keep me motivated to keep writing.
hmmmm and prednisone they say will make you manic? It never did me.
Especially the Methylprednisolone...it is different. It is "different" Helps your lungs too. ;)

I'm gonna have it run its course. The itching has stopped a bit.
I take ice-packs, wrap them in cloth and place them on the itching spots. Good temporary relief.
